There is less than a week before the second round of the current season resumes. Free State Stars have gone to Klerksdorp in the North West for a mini pre- season camp.
‘Ea Lla Koto’ kicks off the second round with three times league champions Supersport United on Wednesday 15 February 2012 at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe.
Before going into camp the Bethlehem based side played a series of friendlies against a number of competitive opponents.
They went against National First Division and sister team Carara Kicks, and then went head to head with neighbours and arch rivals Bloemfontein Celtic.
Their last encounter was with Lesotho Correctional Services of which Stars beat with a 3- 1 score margin. ‘Stars’ took the whole squad except for Noah Chivuta and Kennedy Mweene who are currently doing duty for their native country in the AFCON 2012.
