Lebusetsa Miya, Free State Stars Development skipper, is adamant he will break into the first team rather sooner than later. Miya told the club website that it’s an honour and privilege to play for such a brand like Free State Stars.
"I am humbled to be part of this club. We are like a family. The relationship between the players and the coach is just awesome”, said Miya.
Affectionately known as Careca, Miya is currently the club’s top goalscorer with 20 goals in all competitions thus far and he is determined he will finish the season with 30 goals.
"I am working very hard to bring to reality my dream of playing in top flight football and I hope I get the nod from the first team coaches sooner than I expect”, explained Miya.

The skipper pointed out that the club was looking very well after them and the only way they could repay them was to win the league for them.
"Our league campaign is right on track despite losing our last game, but we vow to finish on the number one spot when the season ends”, said Miya confidently.
"Speaking of the Nedbank Cup it saddens us to see that we are not part of this competition after coming a long way and we were very close to grabbing a spot in the lucrative compettion”, concluded the young striker.
