With the window period shut down yesterday afternoon at 17H00 Free State Stars snapped two defenders from lower leagues to beef up their defence.
The two defenders are towering Sihle Eric Mpuqa from Berea- Albion FC who are campaigning in the Castle League division and Moeketsi Joseph Tau who comes from Vodacom league side Trabzon FC.
Trabzon are coached by former Stars skipper Sipho Khuse and alreay have a link with Stars as team top goal scorer Edward Manqele has also played for them.
Tau told the club website he is over the moon that he joined his former teammate Manqele who has been a hit in his maiden season in top flight football.

"I am happy to be associated with the club of Stars calibre, they are an ambitious club and there is no doubt I will fit in well as they play my kind of football which is attacking as a unit," explained Tau.
"It will not be easy cracking it into the first team straight away but I will work hard and compete for the place in the starting eleven, said the confident Tau.
